Katie Coblentz's attempt to become a man started in the most innocent of ways.
Early in her high-school career, Katie's peers became sexually active. When she didn't want to follow their example, classmates suggested she must be a lesbian. The seeds of confusion sown that day ultimately led Katie to believe she was a transgender man--and to suffer through multiple surgeries.

Basel, Switzerland
The Basel 40 Days for Life team encountered a 21-year-old mother who is on the fence about keeping her baby...or having an abortion.
"She is in the fifth week of pregnancy," wrote Aurelia, the Basel campaign leader. "The problem is finances."
The woman's boyfriend doesn't earn enough money to support a family, and the woman's parents won't let her live at home if she keeps the baby.
Aurelia and her team ask you to join them in praying for this woman, her baby, and the entire family.
Syracuse, New York
40 Days for Life volunteers in Syracuse pray in front of America's first legal abortion facility, which began doing abortions years before Roe v. Wade.
The team redirected a woman from that Planned Parenthood to a pregnancy care center. It turns out she wasn't pregnant, but prayer warriors had the opportunity to discuss chastity with her.
"She said what she really needed is prayer," said Jeanie, the longtime leader in Syracuse. "Of course this filled us with joy!"
The woman stayed in touch with Jeanie, later texting, "Your prayer was everything to me, thank you."
When Herod realized that he had been deceived by the magi, he became furious. He ordered the massacre of all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had ascertained from the magi.

Lord, we pray that you bless all lawmakers with the courage of the magi. We ask that you bestow wisdom and good judgment on those who serve in government. Give them the strength to do what is right and the courage to risk their careers to protect the unborn. Help them to use their positions of authority to cherish and defend life in America. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
