Notes

Annapolis 40 Days for Life is a coordinated 40-day campaign holding peaceful vigils by the Annapolis Planned Parenthood abortion clinic offering hope and alternatives to women considering abortion. During the campaign (one in the Spring and one in the Fall), individuals, churches, families, and groups join together to stand vigil and pray sending a powerful message to the community about the tragic reality of abortion.

See the helpful RESOURCES section on this page, especially Guidelines on Standing Vigil, Statement of Peace, and the Map.  For more information on our mission or how to stand witness, click “Send a Message” on this page and a leader will contact you, answer your questions and/or help you get started standing vigil and praying with others.

Important Vigil Notes:

-You may stand vigil at the West Street or Smithville Street entrance to Planned Parenthood (PP).
-Do not walk through or park in PP's parking lot or driveway.
-Do not block sidewalks or PP's driveways or block the view of exiting vehicles.
-Parking is available at St. Mary's cemetery, public garages and side streets. This includes the house side of Smithville Street (behind PP) from 9 am to 4 pm and after 7 pm.
-If parking on Woodlawn Avenue, reserve the spaces near the Women's Clinic side entrance for clients.
-DO NOT pray on the sidewalk in front of the Women's Clinic.
