Notes

Thank you for being a peaceful, prayerful witness to the sanctity of life and to offer hope and encouragement for the moms-to-be.

Our 40-day prayer vigil takes place Only On The Sidewalk at 4697 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT.  Our presence on the sidewalk sends a powerful message to the community. Under His guidance, we offer hope and we pray that they consider alternatives.

The Bridgeport Planned Parenthood performs medical abortions. The hours of this abortion facility are:

Saturday 8AM - 4PM
Sunday Closed
Monday 8AM - 3:30PM
Tuesday 10AM - 5:30PM
Wednesday 10AM - 5:30PM
Thursday 11AM - 6:30PM
Friday 10:30AM - 4:30PM

Planned Parenthood is located at the back of the Commerce Park office complex. We cannot pray directly in front of it because all of Commerce Park is Private Property. Our permit of assembly from the City of Bridgeport allows us to pray on the sidewalk on Main Street only. Please allow passers-by to walk on the sidewalk and do not block anyone's path.  Do not stand near the driveway and allow cars easy entry. Always remain peaceful.

For parking when you come to the Vigil site,  please park on Hillview Street and use the cross-walk. You may also carpool, drop-off and pick-up your Prayer Buddies.  At no time should anyone park in the lot at Commerce Park.  It is private property.

This Planned Parenthood does the Medical Abortion (two different pills, taken 2 days apart), does not do surgical abortions. That means that women can change their minds after the first pill! It is particularly important that we witness and pray for these women to choose life, since they can avail themselves of the abortion pill reversal option to save the baby, if they change their minds in time.
