You can park at Cornerstone Services. You can also use the bathroom, pray before and after your shift, get signs and materials to hand out, and enjoy snacks and water when available. The address is 120 N 18th St, Mount Vernon. Additional parking is located at Trinity Lutheran at 301 S. 18th street, 2 blocks south of Cornerstone.
If you have the opputunity to refer someone to a pro-life organization, you can refer them to Cornerstone or Skagit Valley Pregnancy Care Center as appropriate based on their situation and needs.

Stop by and learn about their operation and services so you know how to advise those willing to consider alternatives. Make sure you tell potential clients they offer free ultrasounds! Feel free to personally take them there and introduce them to the staff!

Sidewalk Etiquette
1. Step back off the sidewalk whenever a car is exiting the driveways and attempting to enter traffic on Division. The key is to not block their view of on-coming traffic.
2. Pick up trash in the area we operate. Even if it is not yours, it is good to do it to be a good neighbor--and prevent the locals from blaming us for leaving it.
3. Keep your eye out for pedestrians and clear a path for them to pass by. They should not be forced into the street to get around us.
4. Give a kind greeting to those passing by. You can also offer them a pro-life handout/trifold. I usually just say "Can I give you some information" and reach out toward them with a try-fold in hand. You can offer them to cars that are exiting too. Even if they say no, I then tell them to have a great day or "God Bless You."
