Where to park: Parking is limited. You may have to drive around the block in the neighborhood to find a legal open spot and walk to the sidewalk in front of PP. Do not park in Planned Parenthood's parking lot or their spaces next to the building on Midvale Ave N. Parking on side of Epic Life Church at Northgate Way and Stone Ave a half block away except on Sundays when church services going on.
Come and pray 1 hour weekly or whatever you are able to do. Important to bring at least one other person with you if no one has signed up for the hour you choose. For new volunteers, first create a log in for the North Seattle vigil on the 40 Days for Life website, www.40daysforlife.com. Due to security breaches, they will ask for your phone number. Also you will be asked to sign a statement of peace. After you sign up, you will then receive communications from your local leaders and headquarters and able to sign up for hours. Every fall I ask for a hard copy of the Statement of Peace from each participant that prays on the sidewalk. This is a strong suggestion for the leader to do this in case there is an incidence. I will phone new volunteers and make sure that myself or other experienced vigil participant will orient you to the sidewalk!

Daily 7am-7pm
COMMANDMENTS OF SAFETY
1. Stay safe, always.
2. Try to have at least two vigil participants.
3. Never be alone after dark.
4. Conduct the vigil in a safe and public or otherwise lawful location.
5. If you feel threatened, leave and call the police.
6. If your path is blocked call the police.
7. If you are touched, call the police.
8. If you can safely do so, photograph/film events.
9. If the police arrive, be polite and cooperative.
10. If you are ordered to leave by competent governmental authority, do so and
contact 40 Days for Life headquarters and your vigil leader.
11. Do not trespass.
12. Do not threaten.
13. Do not touch others.
14. Do not display or discuss weapons.
15. Do not curse.
16. Do not block anyone's path/right-of-way.
17. Obey all laws
