PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT THE ONTARIO, CANADA SUPERIOR COURT HAS CONTINUED ITS INTERIM INJUNCTION AGAINST BROOKE DIETRICH & PERSONS UNKNOWN IN FAVOR OF 40 DAYS FOR LIFE

 

40 Days for Life has filed a legal action against Brooke Dietrich and those acting at her behest as a result of her campaign to sabotage 40 Days for Life by, among other things, filling Vigil calendars with no intent to participate, filling shopping cart(s) in the 40 Days for Life Store with no intent to purchase, publishing personally identifiable information about 40 Days for Life personnel, and encouraging others to do the same.  This sabotage campaign has been largely waged on the social media platform TikTok and has garnered hundreds of thousands of “views.”  Many campaigns in Canada and the US have been negatively affected by these acts.

As a result, 40 Days for Life engaged counsel in Canada and filed legal action to stop Ms. Dietrich and persons unknown from engaging in these activities.

As you can see from the SIGNED ORDER linked to below, we have once again prevailed, and the Court has extended it’s ORDER against Ms. Dietrich until further NOTICE TO cease and desist these activities:

THIS COURT ORDERS that an interim and interlocutory injunction against Brooke Dietrich is granted, restraining and enjoining the Defendant Brooke Dietrich from directly or indirectly, by any means whatsoever:

a) fraudulently registering as a participant in the Plaintiff’s activities, through the Plaintiff’s website, with the intention of not participating in the Plaintiff’s activities;

b) engaging in any other acts of sabotage, attempted sabotage, interference, or harassment, by electronic means, against 40 Days for Life, including acts which are intended to or likely will result in harm to 40 Days for Life’s business interests, charitable interests, and/or property, including intellectual and intangible property, reputation, and goodwill;

 c) publishing online the names, e–mail addresses, and other contact information of the Plaintiff’s employees, associates, volunteers, or participants in its activities, or encouraging third parties to contact same;

d) publishing or republishing communications encouraging others to engage in the activities described above; and,
