PLEASE SEE VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT BELOW!470 Pleasant St. Worcester, MA
March 22, 2020 @ 5pm: WE JUST RECEIVED WORD THAT THE 40 DFL NATIONAL TEAM IS CANCELLING ALL PUBLIC VIGILS EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
We encourage you to set aside time at home, if your family responsibilities allow, to commit to vigil hours "virtually," so we can keep our continuous prayer going until the campaign is over. The national team is working to modify the calendar function so we can use it to keep track of these hours.
As people of faith, let’s pray for God in His mercy to mitigate the impact of the coronavirus on our families and our communities as we continue to pray along with the campaign daily, to fast, and to advocate for an end to abortion.
Please contact Lee (508-887-1064) with any questions or concerns.
Parking is available at Blessed Sacrament Parish at 555 Pleasant St. and on Hudson and Dewey Streets. For those with limited mobility, the parking closest to the vigil site is at the corner of Pleasant and Hudson Streets. DO NOT park in the lot of the medical building at 475 Pleasant St. or your car may be towed. Please DO NOT park in the Problem Pregnancy lot during their business hours: M, T, W, 10-4, Th 9-3, F 9-noon.
The closest public restroom facilities are at Dunkin' Donuts, 211 Chandler St. (on the corner of Mason and Chandler), about a block and a half from the vigil site.
To participate in this campaign, you must agree to the Statement of Peace. It is displayed to the right under RESOURCES.
When praying on the sidewalk, be sure not to block any foot traffic or entrance to Planned Parenthood.
