We have good news from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: the U.S. abortion rate has dropped—again! In the 47 states that report abortion data to the federal government, the abortion rate fell more than 2 percent. It’s part of a larger trend. Since 2007, the abortion rate is down about 25%.

On this episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast Steve Karlen talks with co-host Dr. Haywood Robinson and Special Guest Dr. Michael New about:

  • What's responsible for the continuing drop in the abortion rate?

  • Are lives really being saved? Or is a shift toward pill-induced abortions artificially decreasing the abortion rate?

  • When it comes to abortion, what direction is public opinion moving?

Not only is Dr. New a leading political scientist and social researcher, but he also leads the 40 Days for Life vigil in Washington, D.C. In addition to offering his expertise breaking down the CDC abortion report, he'll share his lifesaving experiences on the sidewalk in front of the Planned Parenthood facility in the nation's capital.
