Earlier this month, abortion advocates hosted a "Women's March" for "reproductive rights" in cities across the United States.

The nationally coordinated event was a response to the Texas Heartbeat Act, Mississippi's upcoming challenge to Roe v. Wade, and other state-level pro-life legislation.

But while these marches claimed to speak for women, they were profoundly anti-woman.

On this week's episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast, 40 Days for Life Outreach Director Sue Thayer joins us to break down 5 reasons the Women's March was misogynistic:

Planned Parenthood's supporters marched for an afternoon...

...but pro-lifers are publicly witnessing to the dignity of human life in 612 cities worldwide for 40 straight days. Sign up to join the lifesaving vigil by visiting 40daysforlife.com/location.

Lander, Wyoming

The Women's March in Lander tried to rally abortion advocates to the 40 Days for Life vigil site to "oppose" pro-lifers the day of the Women's March.

Lander's 40 Days for Life team rose to the occasion.

"The tiny town of Lander, Wyoming responded with over 140 people to pray for an end to abortion!" reported Karen, the local leader. "Praise and glory to God."

Green Bay, Wisconsin

The Green Bay 40 Days for Life team noticed that the local Women's March only drew about half the number of people who attended the local campaign's kickoff rally.

"It was not impressive...Between 50-75 people gathered and could barely get the energy to chant tired 70s pro-abortion slogans," reported the campaign leadership team. "Their lies have run out of steam, folks."

Green Bay 40 Days for Life participants are NOT running out of steam. They host two around-the-clock, 24/7 vigils a year--and never miss an hour of vigil coverage.

But the Lord said, "You have had pity on the plant for which you have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in the night and perished in the night. And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left, and much livestock? Should I not be concerned about that great city?"

-- Jonah 4:10-11

Gracious God, loving our enemies seems like one of the most difficult things you could ask of us. Please remind us that this is how you love and that if you ask it of us then you will give us the grace to do it.
