40 Days for Life vigils have a big impact on the operations of an abortion business.
James in Honolulu recently hosted a prayer rally in front of Planned Parenthood on a very rainy, very windy day. That morning, only one customer showed up.
And not only that, but the abortionist didn't even show up!
"There were zero abortions," James said. "But there was lots of honking and support from people who saw us getting poured on."
James was delighted to see the faithful demonstrate their love for life by coming to pray even when the weather was ugly...
...and to see their prayers answered with no lives being lost all day!
"It made me thankful to God that no matter rain or shine, the faithful will show up," he said. "Saving babies is essential."

Green Bay, Wisconsin

From the tropical rains of Hawaii to the frozen tundra of Green Bay, Wisconsin!
Keith and Connie were standing vigil in front of Planned Parenthood when they heard squealing tires behind them. As the vehicle drove by, one of its occupants angrily screamed at them.
The driver wanted to make sure Keith and Connie heard the disparagement and drove a little too close to the curb, hitting it.
"We heard the strike and the popping sound of the tire," Keith and Connie said. "We couldn't help but to laugh with God's swift justice, but we quickly realized that the driver needed prayers [as] we watched the SUV head down [the street] with a flat."
New Haven, Connecticut

Mariana and her vigil participants have been making use of the 40 Days for Life reflections on the Hallow app. She even ran the app through her car speaker and turned up the volume so everybody at the vigil could follow along.
The New Haven team received a special visit from Fr. Dolan, an area priest.
"As a result of him coming, many volunteers came out to pray!" Mariana said.
She also praised Claudia from her team, who is in the process of selling her house--but still makes time to participate in the vigil!

Then the boy’s father cried out, "I do believe, help my unbelief!"
--Mark 9:24
Lord, we ask that you might grant every person struggling with doubts the reassurance that you are with them. We ask that you might work in the hearts of men and women who question your existence. We pray that more people will come to believe that you are the source of all strength and the summit of all hope. And we ask you to help us to trust that through your work in our lives, we can build up a culture that recognizes the dignity of every person. Amen.
