Waco, Texas
The Waco 40 Days for Life team has hosted dozens of prayer campaigns...and it continues to build strength.
Aine, the local campaign leader, welcomed 40 Days for Life outreach director and former Planned Parenthood manager Ramona Trevino for a special outreach event to the Spanish-speaking community.
Turnout exceeded expectations. Better yet, attendees committed to pray. By the end of the night, Hispanic prayer warriors had committed to dozens of hours at the vigil.
One attendee reported she was so inspired that she stayed up all night thinking about Ramona's message.
Another attendee told Ramona that her sister had an abortion after being raped--and that the pain caused by the abortion continued to weigh heavily years later. The attendee is going to put her sister in touch with Ramona to find Spanish-language post-abortion healing ministries.
Savannah, Georgia
One of the reasons pro-lifers win is because they're willing to make difficult sacrifices that the other side won't make.
Case in point: Savannah, Georgia, 40 Days for Life leader Rob said volunteers came from out of state to join his effort.
"We [have] a South Carolina group driving one hour to get to Savannah," he said. "Very exciting."
But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall name him John. … He will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from his mother’s womb, and he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God."

Our Father in heaven, we pray in a special way for all those who struggle with infertility. We ask you to give them peace in their suffering, strength in their perseverance, and healing in body and soul.
