Tuluá, Colombia
The 40 Days for Life team in Tuluá helped save a baby from abortion in a previous campaign--and that encounter continues to pay dividends years later.
The mother has a friend whose teenage daughter is pregnant...and had already scheduled an abortion. But the woman had such a good experience with the 40 Days for Life team that she directed her friend's daughter to vigil participants for help.
"We offered her counseling and an ultrasound and provided a baby kit," said Yaneth, who leads the Tuluá campaign. "She chose life."
Fairfield, California
Our general counsel Matt Britton recently visited Fairfield, which is holding a 40 Days for Life campaign for the 20th straight year! He was joined by Frank Pavone from Priests for Life.
"Many participants have been there every single year," Matt reported."One of the ladies introduced me to her 19-year-old son, who joined the vigil from a stroller during the very first vigil!"
The Fairfield campaign is led by iconic leaders, Maria and Tranquilino, and most of their volunteers are Latinos. "It is a campaign that is extremely effective and well-run," Matt noted.
Granite City, Illinois
Granite City is home to one of America's most notorious late-term abortion facilities...
...and to a 40 Days for Life campaign that has saved a LOT of babies over the years!
"Granite City had [our] first save yesterday," wrote Rose, the longtime vigil leader. "Mother walks outs and tells prayer partners she changed her mind! Free resources were given to her and prayers said for her."
