You're never too young to save a baby.
"This morning, we witnessed one of the sweetest moments of our campaign so far: babies saving babies!" wrote Alejandra, a longtime 40 Days for Life leader in Southern California. "Rosario came with her niece, a 14-month-old baby, and offered pro-life information to people driving into Planned Parenthood."
Several drivers did stop and take a brochure from the baby!
"We also saw a couple exiting the facility who held up an ultrasound, waved it toward us, and gave us a thumbs-up!"
The Orange team has gotten a boost from a group of men--the Santiago Retreat Center Tradesmen--who showed up for the first hour of the campaign at 6:00 a.m. sharp and who continue to return to the vigil.

A young university student wanted to have an abortion because she was afraid of her father's reaction to her pregnancy.
The young mother confided in a friend, whose grandmother is an active 40 Days for Life participant. That friend was able to encourage her not to have the abortion.
She is nearing the second trimester of her pregnancy--and her family ended up supporting her!
But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you may not appear to others to be fasting, except to your Father who is hidden. And your Father who sees what is hidden will repay you.

Heavenly Father, we ask for humility in our prayer and fasting. Help us to place you at the center of our lives so that others will come to know you through our words and deeds. As we continue through these 40 days, help us to listen to your voice, act in accord with your will, and trust in the power of prayer even when we don’t always see the fruits on earth. Amen.
