Mississauga is one of 14 Canadian cities currently taking part in 40 Days for Life.

?Thank you to all who have stood out on the front lines these past couple of weeks,? said one of the Mississauga team leaders. ?There are babies being saved, not though protest, but through the power of prayer and the grace of God to touch hearts.?

The team also noted a great evening at the vigil: ?Standing outside the abortion center with members of the Sisters of Life was very life-affirming.?

The Sisters of Life are devoted to respect for life from conception to natural death and provide support services to mothers in crisis pregnancies and post abortion spiritual healing.

The group also prayed with two young women involved in church-based youth ministries, who focus on educational programs regarding issues such as abortion and euthanasia.
