?What joy to drive up and see the empty parking lot at Planned Parenthood!? a 40 Days for Life volunteer happily reported. ?Fridays are one of the three busiest days for abortions,? said Lisa, the local leader in Tempe, ?but not this Friday!?

Unlike many Fridays, there were no lives at risk. ?Many innocent lives of our unborn brothers and sisters were spared,? Lisa said, ?and women and men did not go home carrying a burden so deep and painful because of ?choice.??
Planned Parenthood?s hours have changed frequently over the course of the past year, with signs on the door announcing variations in office hours ?due to unforeseen circumstances.?

?Praise the Lord!? Lisa said. The one thing that remains consistent is the ongoing prayer for the closure of the center, the conversion of the staff ? and for all who are thinking about abortion. ?The Lord is truly at work through your prayers and witness.?
