"Two babies saved so far!" said one of the 40 Days for Life team members in Guatemala City.

In addition, six women who'd had abortions have approached the volunteers seeking information about post-abortion healing. So already, this first 40 Days for Life effort in Guatemala's capital city is having a positive impact.

The vigil has the support of Bishop Victor Hugo Palma of the Catholic Diocese of Escuintla, who has endorsed 40 Days for Life and encouraged people in his diocese to participate.
