Please join us in praying to save lives at the Planned Parenthood in Reno, NV off of Virginia St and Huffaker. This location is right in the middle of a shopping center. YES, abortions are being performed within a shopping center.
- Parking is not allowed at the location since this is a private shopping center.
- For large groups, the closest large public parking area is off of E. Huffaker Lane at the Crystal Lake Park, 1190 Country Estates Circle, Reno, NV which is approximately 12-15 minutes walking distance. This is a good location for large groups to meet up together then walk to the site. This park also has public restrooms.
- Most people park at the shopping center across the street near the Chevron gas station at the Winners Circle parking lot. Be sure to park away from businesses so that their customers can park closer to the business they are visiting.
- There are other public street parking areas near the site. If you're parking in any other parking area, please be aware of oncoming traffic and your surroundings. Safety first.
- Pray on the Virginia Street sidewalk of the CVS. Do not go onto the CVS, Auto Zone or Planned Parenthood property. There may be security guards that are carefully watching the parking lot. You can stand on the sidewalk edge of the parking entrance and face the Planned Parenthood building.
NOTE: Please be sure to sign up for your prayer time so you can also sign the Statement of Peace as a participant. If you do not sign the Statement of Peace you are not part of the 40 Days for Life prayer group. This is a requirement of all 40 Days for Life participants.
- Remember this is a peaceful prayer and fasting event. You can simply pray silently on the sidewalk. Ask the Lord to use you as his instrument to end abortion.
