All our prayer vigil volunteers outside this facility where abortions are performed have signed and agreed to abide by the following at all times while in the vicinity of this place - if they fall short of these principles they will be asked to leave immediately :

Statement of Peace

STATEMENT OF PEACE

I testify to the following:
1. I will only pursue peaceful solutions to the
violence of abortion when volunteering with
the 40 Days for Life campaign
2. I will show compassion and reflect
Christ’s love to all abortion clinic employees,
volunteers and customers
3. I understand that acting in a violent or
harmful manner immediately and completely
disassociates me from the 40 Days for Life
campaign
4. I am in no way associated with the
abortion clinic or its affiliates either by way of
employment, informant, volunteer, client, or
otherwise
While standing on the public right of way in
front of the abortion clinic:
5. I will not obstruct the driveways or
footpath
6. I will not drop litter on the public right of
way
7. I will closely attend to any children I bring
to the prayer vigil
8. I will not threaten, physically contact, or
verbally abuse the abortion clinic
employees, volunteers, or customers
9. I will not vandalise private property
10. I will cooperate with the local authorities

PEACEFUL VIGILS CODE OF GOOD PRACTICE

1. THE CONDUCT at the vigils must appeal to all
denominations and must not be aggressive in any
way.
2. CATHOLIC PRAYERS. Rosaries and other
Catholic devotions may be said aloud with due
regard to the sensibilities of everyone present.
3. PRAYING ALOUD. Praying or singing at such a
volume that visitors to the clinic might feel
intimidated should be avoided because they must
understand that we wish only the best for them.
4. LOUD NOISES. Loud coughing or speech are to
be avoided.
5. RELIGIOUS SYMBOLS and rosaries must not
be displayed ostentatiously, especially not on the
banner.
6. ROSARIES AND MIRACULOUS MEDALS. On
no account should they be offered to visitors to the
clinic unless they express interest initially. The
purpose of the vigil is not to recruit members to the
Church.
7. PROSELYTISING. Religious arguments and
preaching must be avoided.
8. INFORMATION ABOUT ABORTION must be
given only in a non-intimidating manner without
chasing or harassing clients.
9. ACCESSORIES. Only essential items needed
by the volunteers during their stint may be brought
to the vigils.
10. FOOD AND DRINK must not be consumed at
the vigil location, but only at a neutral location.
